About KESHARI

KESHARI DAS is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, offering traditional bodywork and educational workshops to the communities of New York City and Long Island. She comes from a family of satyagrahis – nonviolent freedom fighters in India’s independence movement – and her early exposure to Gandhian principles inspired her exploration along paths of mindful practice. She has devoted herself to lifelong study of Ayurveda and is committed to sharing the teachings of this empowering wisdom tradition in an inclusive, antiracist, accessible and sustainable manner.

Keshari has over 1500 hours of classroom and clinical training from The Ayurvedic Institute, with Dr. Vasant Lad and faculty. She also completed a mentorship with Dr. Claudia Welch, Ayurvedic practitioner and Doctor of Oriental Medicine. She’s grateful to have immersed in additional studies with Karen Rose, Dr. Robert Svoboda, Tyler Wauters and the inaugural cohort of the Living Ayurveda Internship, amongst many beloved others. As of 2026 she is undertaking clinical herbalism studies with the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism.

Keshari is grateful to serve as Education Coordinator and faculty for Banyan Farm in Williams, Oregon, as well as Program Assistant for Sustainable Herbs Initiative in Montpelier, Vermont.
